A full-cycle development project of the Property Valuation Report (PVR) at Zoopla, this project marked one of the first strategic collaborations between Zoopla and Hometrack, following their acquisition. This initiative reinforced the combined power of both companies, translating previously bank-exclusive premium Automated Valuation Model (AVM) products into accessible, mainstream tools for estate agents and consumers via Zoopla’s market strong property portal.

Key Features & Impact;
- Bank-Grade Data, Portal Reach: The PVR leveraged parts of Hometrack’s market-leading AVM to deliver credible, data backed property valuations, directly to agents and consumers.

- Seamless Agent Adoption: Designed as a core component of Zoopla’s B2B value add suite, the PVR enabled estate agents to produce professional, co-branded valuation reports enriched with local market trends, Zoopla search data, comparable sales, and detailed property analytics.

- Market Differentiation: By bridging proprietary AVM technology with portal and agent marketing data, the PVR set a new benchmark for transparency and reliability in property valuations.

- Scalable and User Friendly: The PVR was engineered for ease of use, with seamless integration into ZooplaPro and agent workflows, enabling rapid report generation, personalisation, and distribution as branded PDFs. Its architecture supported both native and white-labeled deployments, maximising reach and flexibility.

Business Results;
The PVR quickly became a cornerstone of Zoopla’s B2B offering, widely adopted across the market and instrumental in reinforcing Zoopla and Hometrack’s leadership in portal and property data solutions. By democratising access to premium valuation intelligence, the project significantly improved industry standards for agent-based market appraisals and helped agents deliver greater value to their customers.
